NOTE : Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) located in Philadelphia, PA is approximately 2 hours away from Washington, DC. Several private bus companies and AMTRAK provides daily services between Philadelphia and Washington, DC.

Amtrak has services to Washington, DC. Go to the www.amtrak.com for further information.

BUS

Mega Bus (www.megabus.com) and Bolt Bus (www.boltbus.com) offers daily services to Washington, DC. Several other private bus companies also offers daily services to Washington, DC. Upon arrival in Washington, DC both the Mega Bus and Bolt Bus will take you to Union Station in Washington, DC.

Accommodations:
All participants will be staying at Thurston Hall, George Washington University, 1900 F Street, NW, Washington, DC 20052.

Getting around during the conference:
Metro Rail around the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Weather: 
In July, Washington, DC has an average high temperature of 88 degrees Farenheit (30 Celsius) and an average low temperature of 71 degrees Faranheit (26 Celsius).

Time Zone: 
Washington, DC is in the Mid-Atlantic part of the United States following the Eastern Time Zone.

Language: 
English is the common language and will be used during the conference. You must have some basic understanding of English to attend the conference. Some of the workshops sessions at the 2018 Conference will be in French and Spanish.
